Member guidelines
To all current members and people looking to join, you will need to review these guidelines. If you have any questions ask Nate or Josh.
In order to become a possible member of Great Lakes Paranormal Society (G.L.P.S), you must comply within this criterion:
You Must Be:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver's license or a state I.D.
- Own an insured vehicle.
- Not on probation, parole or a long criminal history.
- Not convicted of any felonies within the last 10 years.
- Somewhat experienced. (Those that have none will have their application reviewed)
Privacy:
Information that has been obtained by G.L.P.S will not be shared with the public or any other paranormal group such as:
- Investigations, gathered information, G.L.P.S happenings or anything that has to do with G.L.P.S.
- G.L.P.S. Founders will be the only ones to share investigative information with clients, unless given prior authorization for public release.
Clothing and Attire:
- G.L.P.S shirt.
- Pants must be normal pants, jeans or cargo style. (Shorts are welcome during the summer)
- Any normal shoe or boot is fine.
G.L.P.S Meetings/ Investigations:
- *You are required to wear your G.L.P.S shirt at all means and follow the clothing/attire guidelines above.
- *Meetings/ Investigations must be attended unless you have given proper notice to both G.L.P.S Founders and/or Case Managers in a proper time frame on why you cannot make it to the meetings/ investigations. (Please try to be available)
- Investigations will be planned around everyone's schedule as much as possible.
* This rule applies to everyone, common courtesy is required.*
Please follow the rules:
- What G.L.P.S. Founders say is the way it goes. (Both of us must agree before any action is taken)
- All rules must be followed at all times, even on investigations.
- New rules will be added, changed or removed at anytime by G.L.P.S Founders.
Membership:
- A written membership G.L.P.S. form must be filled out either by E-mail or a print out and sent in to these G.L.P.S founders.
- Only G.L.P.S both founders will make the decision in whom may become a member of the G.L.P.S Investigative Team. (Filling out the G.L.P.S. application does not guarantee a membership to G.L.P.S.)
- Membership can and will be terminated at anytime.
- You pledge not to join any other paranormal group as a member.
Conduct:
- There is no voting to make group decisions, the Founders will ask members opinions but the Founders make the final decision.
- Conflict between members WILL NOT be tolerated.
- No gossiping about other members, this isn't high school.
